The Howard Hanson Dam Project was an installation of a 450 foot long by 170 foot deep curtain abutment that contains 20,185 cubic feet of grout. The curtain abutment ensures that the proper amount of storm water is collected to supply the drinking water for the city of Tacoma, Washington.

Trinity Safety Group representatives were responsible for the oversight of all construction activities. A major emphasis was placed on excavation and confined space safety of personnel involved in to project.
