ABOUT THE CLASS
- This interactive session presents a variety of workplace safety issues and standards in 1-3 hour increments with presentations that have been specifically tailored for commercial and residential construction.
- Our training includes real-time formative and summative assessment where the instructor tracks student progress, collects data, encourages participation, and facilitates discussion.
- OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
- Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card from the Department of Labor (OSHA).
- Please note that although many essential safety topics are covered in this program, construction workers perform a wide variety of duties and may require additional training as designated by OSHA standards.
